We choose ingredients for a reason. Where possible, we work with ingredients grown and made here in Aotearoa. Where they come from further afield, we still want to know their provenance, their purpose and why they belong in the formulation.

01 / Mānuka honey
Mānuka flowers for four to six weeks. That is the entire window, and it opens at different times as you move down the country, so everything depends on the hives being in the right place at the right few weeks.
Ours comes from the top of the North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato and the Coromandel, and from further afield in a poor season. The beekeepers behind it have been producing mānuka since 1965, back when most of the industry did not want it. Too dark, too thick, too hard to get out of the frame.
That is the honey we put in the can.
02 / Blackcurrant JUICE
Grown on the Canterbury Plains, between the Southern Alps and the Pacific, and pressed for juice.
It’s what gives Malosi Energy+ its sharp berry flavour.
03 / Grapeseed
Sauvignon Blanc grapeseed from Marlborough, from wineries registered with Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand. It's extracted using water only and blended with New Zealand blackcurrants to make Oxifend® Sport, a New Zealand made ingredient in both Malosi Energy+ and Malosi Pre-Workout.
